BUILDING LOCAL CAPACITY

We believe that community and systems transformation starts at the local level: harnessing the existing strengths, assets, and wisdom of the individuals most impacted by trauma and inequities to shape solutions is central to creating tangible, sustainable change.

NOW is committed to building the capacity of local coalitions and communities — meeting communities where they are, honoring past history, and leveraging the work that has come before. Through NOW’s capacity-building supports, we focus on five key levers of change that we believe are critical for ensuring an equitable, inclusive approach to systems alignment and transformation.

We encourage you to explore the resources below to learn more about these levers of change, join us for an upcoming learning lab, and search our interactive library for resources and tools to get started.

Explore components that we believe are critical to ensure the equitable transformation and alignment of community systems - in a way that moves those most impacted by inequity from margin to center. Click on each lever to find out more.
